1. Who is behind the app
PDF Free is an app for iPhone and iPad, listed on the App Store as "Sonholab Scanner: PDF & Sign". The app is published on the App Store under the name of Javier Vinardell, and is developed and maintained by L. M. PEREZ MONTANA, trading as SonhoLab, CNPJ 61.620.014/0001-00, Rua Fausto Cabral, 871, Casa A, Vicente Pinzon, Fortaleza/CE, 60181-227, Brazil ("SonhoLab", "we", "us").
Because the app does not collect personal data, no one processes personal data through it. If you have any question about your privacy in the app, email us at contacto@sonholab.com.
This notice covers only the PDF Free app. Our other services are governed by our Privacy Policy.
2. What the app does not collect
PDF Free is free and does not ask for or collect your name, email, phone number, location or contacts. It has no:
- accounts or sign-in;
- server to store your documents, and no cloud of its own;
- internet connection: it works fully offline;
- analytics, crash reports or tracking across apps or websites;
- ads or advertising identifiers;
- in-app purchases or paid version.
The app sends us nothing about you, your documents or how you use it. We do not sell personal data or share it for advertising.
3. What stays on your phone
The camera. You scan with the system scanner. Photos are processed on your phone and are not sent anywhere.
Your photo library. When you import images, you choose which ones with the system picker. The app only receives those photos and cannot see the rest of your library.
Text recognition. Text is recognized on your phone and works offline. Nothing it reads leaves the device.
Your documents. Photos and PDFs live in the app's private storage, which no other app can access. We cannot see them.
Sharing. A document only leaves your phone when you share it, through the system share sheet. You pick the destination, and from then on what happens to that copy depends on the app or service you chose.
Files, signatures and passwords. When you import a PDF, you choose which one. Your signatures are saved only in the app. You can open a password-protected PDF: the password you type is used only to open it and is not stored anywhere.
4. Backups
If you back up your iPhone or iPad with iCloud or on a computer, Apple's backup may include the app's documents and signatures, depending on your backup settings. Apple manages those backups with your account, not us.
5. How to delete your data
- One document: delete it in the app whenever you want.
- Everything: uninstall the app, and everything it saved is removed.
- Backups: copies in device backups remain until those backups are replaced or deleted.
Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing on our side to look up, correct or delete. If you email us, we handle that message under our Privacy Policy.
6. Children
The app does not collect data from anyone, including children. It has no ads, chat, contact with other people or purchases.

8. Changes to this notice
If PDF Free ever collects data, or adds features that use the internet or purchases:
- we will update this notice and the App Store privacy label before the change reaches you;
- we will change the version number below;
- we will tell you in the app.
