QR Code Generator
Turn a link or a bit of text into a downloadable QR code, without uploading anything.
Paste a link or type some text and you get a QR code image, ready to download and print on a sign, a menu or a business card. The code is drawn inside your browser, so nothing travels to a server of ours. And since the image is yours, it never expires and doesn't depend on any outside service.
How to make your QR code
Type or paste your content
Drop in your website link, your WhatsApp number or whatever text you want to show. The code redraws as you type.
Test it with your phone
Point your phone camera at the code on screen and check that it opens the right link before you send anything to print.
Download the image
Save the code as an image and drop it into your sign, your menu or your card. It stays on your device, with no watermark and no signup.
What people use it for
- A restaurant that sticks the QR for its digital menu on every table and changes dishes without reprinting.
- Someone who sells over WhatsApp and wants customers to message from a QR printed on the flyer or the package.
- An office assistant putting together an event invite, adding a QR with the venue map and the RSVP form.
Frequently asked questions
Is it free, or is there a limit?
It's free and there's no cap on how many codes you make. We don't ask for an email, an account or a subscription, and there's no paid tier with hidden features. Generate as many as you need, one after another, in the same day.
What happens to the link or text I type in?
It stays on your device. The code is drawn by the browser you're already using, so what you type never gets sent to a server of ours and isn't stored anywhere. Close the tab and nothing is left behind.
Does the QR code expire after a while?
No. It's a static QR: the link is written into the image itself, not routed through a shortener of ours. It keeps working as long as the site it points to stays online. The trade-off is that once it's printed, you can't change the destination without making a new one.
Do I need to install anything or create an account?
None of that. It runs in the browser you already have, on a computer or a phone, and there's no program to download. There's no queue either: the code shows up as soon as you finish typing.
Is the image good enough to print large?
Yes. Generate the code at the largest size you can and use it on posters or storefront windows. Always leave a white margin around it and don't stretch it: if the image gets distorted, phone cameras stop reading it.
