Document Viewer
Open PDF, Word and image files without installing anything. The file stays on your device.
Drag your PDF, Word or image here or click to choose it
.pdf, .docx, JPG, PNG or WEBP. Processed in your browser, never uploaded to any server.
When someone sends you a contract as a PDF or a report in Word and you don't have Office installed, opening it turns into a chore. This viewer shows PDFs, Word documents and images right in the browser: pick the file, look at it, done. Nothing is uploaded to a server or stored anywhere.
How to open a document
Pick the file
Drag the PDF, .docx or image into the box, or click to browse your computer. It opens without being uploaded anywhere.
Read the document
The PDF is drawn page by page and the Word document keeps its formatting. Just scroll to move through it.
Switch to another file
When you're done, pick another document to view. Nothing is saved on the page: close the tab and the file is gone from memory.
What it's good for day to day
- A contract arrives as a PDF and you have to read it on a borrowed computer with no reader installed and no rights to install one.
- A student gets their assignment back as a .docx and just wants to check how the formatting looks before turning it in.
- An office assistant opens invoices and receipts that come in over WhatsApp to check the amount without forwarding them to anyone.
Common questions
What happens to the files I open here?
They stay on your device. The viewer runs inside your browser, so the document never travels to a server of ours or anyone else's. Close the tab and it's gone. We don't keep copies or any record of what you opened.
Is it free? Is there a limit on files?
It's free and there's no limit: open as many documents as you want, one after another, without creating an account or leaving an email. There's no queue either, because the work is done by your own machine and not a shared server.
Which formats can I open, and how many pages does it show?
It opens PDFs, Word documents in .docx, and common images like JPG and PNG. For a long PDF it shows up to 40 pages, enough to review most contracts and reports; if you need to see more, open it in a desktop reader.
Do I need to install anything or create an account?
No. It works with the browser you already have, on a computer or a phone, and it asks for no signup and downloads no software. It also adds no watermark to what you see, because it doesn't change the file: it only displays it.
Why does a page come out blank or not show at all?
That happens when the page has an unusual size, a very large blueprint for example: the browser can't draw it and skips it. The rest of the document still displays fine. If the whole file won't open, it may be damaged or password protected.
