Crop & Rotate Image

Crop the area you want, rotate or flip the photo and download it, all inside your browser.

Drag your image here or click to choose it

JPG, PNG or WEBP. Processed in your browser, never uploaded to any server.

Often the photo is fine but the framing isn't: too much background, a crooked angle, or a social network that wants it square. Here you drag the mouse over the area you want to keep, rotate or flip the image and download the result. It all happens in your browser: the file is never uploaded to a server.

    How it works

    1. Open your image

Drag the photo into the box or click to pick it from your computer. It opens instantly in your browser, without being uploaded anywhere.

    2. Mark the crop

Drag the mouse over the area you want to keep and fine-tune the corners. If you need to, turn the image 90 degrees or flip it like a mirror.

    3. Download the result

Check the preview and download the cropped image. It lands in your downloads folder with no watermark, ready to use.

    What it's good for

    • Your LinkedIn or WhatsApp profile picture has too much background around it: crop it square and center your face.
    • You sell on Instagram and the product shots came out crooked: straighten them and give them all the same framing.
    • A form wants your ID photo in portrait but your phone saved it sideways: rotate it and crop off the extra edges.

    Frequently asked questions

What happens to my images, are they uploaded to a server?

No. The cropping happens inside your browser, using your own device's resources. The photo never travels over the internet and isn't stored anywhere, and once you close the tab there's no trace of it outside your device.

Is it free? Is there a limit on how many images?

It's free, with no limit on images and no sign-up. Since the work is done by your device and not by a server of ours, we have no cost per file processed and no queue to wait in, and we don't add a watermark to the result.

Do I need to install any software?

No. It runs in the browser you already have, on a computer, tablet or phone. There's no extension or app to download: open the page, drag in your image and you're set. Once the page has loaded, cropping keeps working even if your connection drops.

What image formats can I crop and rotate?

The ones any browser can open: JPG, PNG and WebP, plus GIF, although an animated GIF downloads as a still image. The result is a regular image file, ready to post on a social network or attach to a form.

Does cropping or rotating lose image quality?

Cropping keeps the pixels of the area you mark, so you won't see a difference by eye. When you save, a JPG is compressed again and can lose a tiny bit. What does change is the size: crop a small part and the download will have fewer pixels.
